Corfu Golf Club
The Corfu Club’s beautiful course has been praised by many as one of golf’s best kept secrets in Europe. It was designed by the famous Swiss based architect, Donald Harradine and he has blended the natural resources of the lovely Ropa Valley including the river of Nafsika (Odysseus was rescued by Princess Nafsika at its exit on Ermones beach), with man made hazards to make the course a good but fair test. It is as enjoyable for the scratch player as it is for the long handicap one. The tree lined fairways and the sand traps combine with the several lakes and meandering streams, to make an attractive picture against a backcloth of high hills. A magical place full of animals and birds (kingfishers, herons, otters, fish). There are three sets of tees thus providing enjoyment for all categories of players.

Aqualand Water Park
The Black Hole, Kamikaze slides, The Four Twisters - it's adrenaline-pumping stuff. And that's just some of the thrills and spills here. But there's more to Aqualand than this with everything from family rafting to a lazy river and the world's third-largest wave pool. Children are well looked after too, with their own pool starring a slippery octopus, a screaming frog and shower mushrooms. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, fast food, a restaurant, boutique and an ice cream parlour. What a great way to spend a day!

Theotokis Vineyard and Winery
The Theotoky Estate is located in the fertile Ropa Valley, in central Corfu. It covers more than 300 acres, much of it covered by pine trees, olive groves and vineyards and is one of the most unspoilt spots in Corfu. Theotoky wine is one of Greece's premier labels, recognised as the finest of wines - the product of years of experience and expertise from the Estate's 30 acres of lovingly worked vineyards. The Estate bottled vintages are available either as a delicious, crisp dry white or a sumptuous richly flavoured red. Theotoky white is a blend of two famous grapes, the Kakotrygi and Robola varieties. The Kakotrygi grape is a variety unique to Corfu whilst the famous Robola grape is grown almost exclusively on Greece's Ionian Islands. Theotoky wine is produced in the traditional way: the process of fermentation and maceration, in new oak barrels, gives the wine maturity, natural stability and superb quality and taste.

The West Coast's Golden Beaches
Below the hilltop village of Pelekas is the beach of Kontogialos with its golden sand gently sloping into the sea. Although not the 'hippy paradise' it was in the '70s and '80s, outside the high season it is still a quiet and beautiful spot. Neighbouring Glyfada is set against a backdrop of crumbling cliffs with rock formations at either end, this large sandy beach is one of the finest and most popular on the island. Swimming is superb; the water is initially shallow, but deepens farther out and there can be a strong undercurrent at the northern end (as on many beaches along the west coast).. Mirtiotissa is still described by some enthusiasts as the most beautiful beach in Europe. Sheer cliffs covered with trees and shrubs drop directly to the sand creating a sense of wonderful isolation. At both ends of the long beach curl rocky promontories offering marvellous snorkelling in crystal blue water. Mirtiotissa is unofficially recognized as the island's nudist beach. Agios Gordis is a scenic beach is surrounded by verdant slopes covered with orchards, olive groves, and market gardens, is punctuated by a gigantic erect rock rising from the water at the southern end - an excellent spot for snorkelling and spear fishing, as are the rocks at the northern end.
